Inventory is a managmeent system. Your homebase can have unlimited storage, but what you take with you is limited.

Kits
Crafting, Theiving, Hunting, Trapping, Navigation, and other specialty tasks that have multiple tools can have a kit that contain all the tools necessary and only take up one slot
