Downtime

Downtime points are reduced to 4 for sake of ease. You can use 1 point to do 1 thing for 1 hour.

Travel to and from a location to preform a downtime task, plus the time spent is recorded off screen, you don't travel there as you would during the day. We Recommend that you only do 1 travel type downtime activity in any given downtime if you are going for realism.

Sleep

Sleeping gives you a [Refreshed] Tag for the following day. No matter how many hours you sleep the tag does not tier.

In addition to the [Refreshed] Tag, for every 4 hours of sleep a character may heal one additional type of injury (all strains, 1 lingering trauma, or downgrade 1 debilitating injury).

Gambling

For every hour make one bet and roll 1d20

Bet Reward Loss
Choose a number Increase your wealth tally by 2 Decrease your wealth tally by 1
Even or Odd Increase your wealth tally by 1 Decrease your wealth tally by 1
When your wealth tally reaches 5 increase your wealth by 1 and the reset your tally to 0. If you drop to 0 wealth tally decrease your wealth by 1.

Drinking

Drinking gives you the [Liquid Courage] tag for the following day. You may only have 1 Tier of this, no matter how much you drink.

For every hour you drink you gain a Tier of Hangover (up to 4). Your first hour of drinking does not yield a Hangover, only after a second hour do you accumulate the Tier (# hours drinking - 1 = Tier of Hangover)

The [Hangover] Tag hinders all mental actions. The condition can be reduced by 1 Tier after 2 travel points have been used for each tier.

Research

Pick a topic to research. It may be a Plan or Location for a quest or faction, a strength or weakness of a creature, a secret for a faction or NPC, or something else your character is interested in.

For every hour you spend researching you gain 1 Tally mark towards only that objective. You may only research up to 4 hours a night.

Study

Pick a skill or ability to learn. You may choose an existing one, or one that you do not know. For a skill or ability you do not know you may add it to your character sheet, but you may not use it until you have earned 5 tallies and made it a Tier 1 ability.

For every hour you spend studying you gain 1 Tally mark towards your next Tier. You may only study up to 4 hours a night.

Meditation

Meditating for 1 hour provides you with a [Zen] tag for the following day. You may only meditate for 1 hour a night.

Socialization

Pick an NPC or PC to build your relationship with. For every hour you spend with this character you earn 1 Tally for your Relationship tag. You can only socialize for 4 hours a night.

You may spend time with another character, drinking, gambling, or go to dinner. (or some other socialization as long as it doesn't require much physical activity). Use the appropriate rules to handle outcomes as well as increase your reputation.

Dinner

You may cook a meal, go out to a restaurant. Sending 1 hour at a dinner downtime activity yields the [Well fed] tag for the following day. You may only spend 1 hour at Dinner.

Workout

For every 1 hour you spend working out you may add a tally to one physical skill, ability or trait on your character, or if you are working towards some other physical ability you are trying to learn.

For every hour you workout, you also gain a [Sore Muscles] tag which hinders all physical activity. Your first hour doesn't cost you this, but for every hour afterwards you gain a tier of the tag. (# hours working out - 1 = Tier of Sore Muscles)

[Sore Muscles] reduces by 1 tier for every 2 tiers of travel points spent.
